We are qualified Muslim funeral directors based in Stoke-on-Trent, dedicated to providing sensitive and respectful services that follow Islamic traditions. Collection of Documentation
At Amaanah Funeral, we assist you in gathering all necessary documentation required for the funeral process, including death certificates, permits, and hospital releases. Our experienced team ensures all paperwork is completed accurately and promptly, allowing the funeral arrangements to proceed smoothly and without delay.
Collection and Transportation
At Amaanah Funeral, we handle every step of the journey with care and respect. We collect your loved one from the hospital, accompany them to the local mosque for prayers, and then ensure their dignified transportation to the cemetery for burial.
Preparation and Bathing
We provide a high-quality oak-veneered casket with fittings, frills, and a grave liner as required. As part of our Islamic funeral care, the body is gently and respectfully bathed (ghusl) by trained attendants, in accordance with religious tradition. We then dress the deceased in a plain white burial shroud (kafan) — three pieces for men and five for women — ensuring dignity and respect at every stage.
Janazah and Burial
We accompany you through the entire funeral process, beginning with the Janazah prayer at the mosque. Loved ones are given time to spend with the deceased in a peaceful setting before we take care of every detail, ensuring a dignified burial in accordance with Islamic tradition.
